These are steel 8mm bushings, they have no "cross slots" or "oil groves" that have been known to wear gear shafts since many gear shafts are softer steel. If you've got worn bushings or plastic bushing these are what you need. Why don't I carry ball bearings? Because they are almost never worth it and often just a bad idea, the case with any 6mm bearings.
