Heat-shrink is an essential tool when doing any rewiring of your electrical system. Heat-shrink is the preferred method of insulating all electrical components from each other and any metal portions of the gearbox or metal body because it is cleaner, more durable, easier, and quicker than tape or liquid solutions. I've carefully selected this heat-shrink for it's exceptional properties. It has a 3:1 shrink ratio compared to the 2:1 of most heat-shrink which means it will contour itself to more complex shapes and bigger component size differences and grip the components tighter. Also unlike most normal heat-shrink it's adhesive lined so the inside is lined with a hot melt adhesive that melts when heated during the shrinking process to not only bind the heat-shrink to the components better but also provide better water sealing than normal heat-shrink. And finally this heat-shrink has a nice thick wall to provide maximum abrasion resistance. Each order is for 6 inches of red and 6inches of black and additional orders will be continuous lengths.
