This SHS VSR upgrade kit is a great starting point to building the ultimate VSR. Included is a stainless steel cylinder, an important upgrade to prevent the cylinder head threads on the stock aluminum cylinder stripping out. Paired with the cylinder is a brass cylinder head featuring a rubber impact pad and a velocity stack style nozzle inlet. The piston has a lightened aluminum body to keep weight down but with a stainless steel sear section for durability. The piston also has a spring thrust ball bearing and polymer bushing rings to reduce friction and not scratch the cylinder wall. The steel spring guide also has a thrust ball bearing to release any spring torsion. The bearing in the piston can be removed or partially removed to adjust the velocity slightly for fine tuning. Currently the spring rate is unknown.
