These all stainless steel ball bearing spring guides for version 3 (AK47, AK74, UMP, Steyr Aug, MP5K, G36, SIGs [for this part], and others) gearboxes. The main purpose of this upgrade part is to release torsion buildup in the spring that can cause premature failure and poor performance. This also increases the consistency of the velocity which improves accuracy. Because of the thickness of the ball bearing it also acts as a spacer which increases velocity.
