These ZCI gears are a new upgraded version of their previous gears. The standard ZCI gears performed quite well from my experience but these new gears have been improved with stronger shafts and a altered construction. These were in direct response from customer feedback so all the improvements were made in just the right places. Like nearly all aftermarket gears everything is CNC machined but the lower part of the bevel and piston mesh part of the sector which are PIM. These 14:1 gears are just a little off of 13:1, I guess if you want to just tweak things a hair slower than 13:1.
